Thank you for the manual.

From this I have found that correct settings for the unit are:
Swashplate type: CCPM 120°
Collective pitch Direction not reversed.

If you are flying with reversed collective, then you have to reverse it in the transmitter. So then the collective pitch movement in the Diagnostic tab will not correspond, but for you it will be correct.
So the reverse of the collective will be not in the unit, but transmitter. In other way it is wrong.

Again thank you! I have changed now the settings in my transmitter and in the fbl unit.

Still I am a bit astonished that I have to reverse all three chanels in the unit (CH1, 2, 3). Maybe I have to change the left (CH1) and the right servo (CH3).

No problem. Servos must be connected according to the Swashplate diagram. CH1 on the left, CH3 on the right. So there is only one correct connection. With others it will be wrong.

Hello,

thanks for your patience and your help. And for the fast delivery of the cables. :)

So this means that pilots who are flying pitch maximum by pulling the stick (to the belly) have always to reverse collective pitch in the transmitter and not in the unit - if neccessary.

Kind regards!

Chris

It's actually the first time I hear that, do you know many people who fly like that?

No problem!

Yes, you are right. It is unusual method so it must be in this way.

And it will has no effect for the rescue mode? It works as usual with no different adjustments?

No, I do not know many pilots who prefer this collective pitch behaviour. In my opinion to pull the stick for positive collective is more similar to a real helicopter. A real pilot pulls the collective to ascend. And he pushs it down for sinking.

Another thing: The new Brain update is now able to readout data from the Hobbywing ESC, in the future also of the Kosmik and Jive. So you won't need a JLog anymore with using a Brain. Will this feature also be available for the Spirit?

Regards

Chris

In full-size, when I "pull" the collective, the stick is going "up". On an RC TX, "moving" the stick up is much closer to what a full-size pilot does; I don't think about "pull" or "push" and both RC and full-size motions feel equally natural.
