Thank you for the reply Tomas,
That is very helpful. I did already order a new ESC. Not sure why this happened now but hopefully the motor is still good.

You are welcome.
But I still recommend to check what is really bad to make sure you know what was the exact reason.
Usually cables can be replaced easily if the problem is there.
