It is not obvious how to calibrate the "governor min" and "max" fields to the required values. I suggest that there be "set" buttons, such that the user (1) disables ESC/motor, (2) sets radio to min value (i.e. throttle hold), (3) presses "set min", (4) sets max value (full throttle), (5) presses "set max" in the GUI.
Further, I do not like the current failsafe value. Currently it seems to output a very low value (maybe -150%) when signal is lost, which is acceptable but annoying (ESC constantly beeps). Earlier I had it outputting full throttle when signal was lost! (This was when I was adjusting the throttle min/max points in the governor GUI.) The fail-safe position should either be min-throttle or be adjustable by the user!
While you're at it, please allow calibration of all channels. It would make set-up much easier.

Upcoming version will bring many changes, including different Throttle Range settings.
So everything mentioned is significantly improved.

Brilliant.
Gr-12L. The problem started when I accidentally reset the receiver (I use a receiver mixer to set throttle range so that it shows up correctly on the TX) and had to recalibrate channels. I checked without the Spirit connected, and the failsafe was doing the right thing (I used a servo as a "PWM meter" instead of the motor).
