Hello all,
i have updated a Spirit II with Spirit Aero current firmware and had no trouble setting it up for the first time (it was great to setup). everything seems to work fine - maiden waiting for better weather.
tiny problem: Hobbywing telemetry is working, but it seems to give a max reading of 8192 rpms for the motor... which is a bit above ~2/3 throttle or so. above that, the motor is still accelerating as expected (to >10.000rpms) - everything normal here. just the telemetry rpm readings seem to max out at 8192. what did i miss in setup?
the Esc is a HW 80A v4, setup: fixed wing, 3S fixed, soft cutoff/disabled, brake disabled, etc ...

Hello,
you have to set motor poles, since 8192 is max. value that can be displayed for RPM. So it can't display higher values.

Hello Tomas,
motor poles is set correctly (10 pole motor => 5 set in config)... motor is spinning ~10.800 at full throttle (from older logs with YGE esc directly on Ex Bus). so this means, i cannot see real rpms via telemetry?
