Samsung note 10 + with android 10 I can connect to the wifi module access point but not to the spirit 2 module with 1.4 aero firmware. I get Spirit unit not found.
Is this a software problem or do I have a defective wifi module

Hello,
can you let me know how you are powering the module? Is it powered directly from unit or receiver?

powering spirit2 with 5 volt battery. Transmitter telemetry shows 5.1 volts
Also having problems with futaba 32mz s.bus. The channels on the transmitter are not read correctly in the setting software. on the settings software for example, Spirit ch1 (ailerons) has to be set to channel 3 when the transmitter channel is actually ch 1. The other spirit channel get some movement but not with the channel corresponding channels on the transmitter. Center points and end points are way off. My 18mz does the same thing

I re-flashed the lastest aero firmware on my spirit 2. tested the wifi module with android 6, 9 and 10. Now I get the error code "Firmware in the unit is for airplane models. Please use Spirit Aero application for aircrafts"
For the sbus problem - I can get it to work if I leave the transmitter channels in their stock order. Using the transmitter function to swap channels messes things up even though the corresponding channel assignments are made in the settings software.

Hello,
is the Wifi-Link bought prior the Spirit 2? If so, it is possible it is an older revision. To make it compatible with Spirit 2 a small hardware modification to the module is needed.
With other (older) units it should still work perfectly. I think this is the case.
Regarding SBUS issue, please leave all channels at default - both in radio and in Spirit unit. This should work well, even that numbering is not matching. But this is OK.

I bought the wifi link when spirit 2 was first (firmware 1.4) released so I guess it is the old unit. On the back it says spirit system wifi-link. What is the hardware modification?

Just occurred to me that I have aero 1.5 loaded in my spirit2. So maybe the wifi heli is not compatible with that. if so is there a wifi aero available?
