I have my gains on a slider... when I move the slider up and down, the Aero doesn't consistently move with it.. very jumpy... does go all the way up every time... with a servo plugged into that channel it moves perfectly... could I have a faulty unit?

Check if all other channels are centered. If not, then you may see some things that are strange. They should be centered automatically after each initialization. So maybe there was some subtrim/trim used in your transmitter?

Very likely your unit is not faulty.

Hey ZeXx86, I'll double check... but I spent a lot of time testing the channels on my Tx.. the others... Ail, ele, rud all look normal in the Diagnostic tab.. it's just the ch5... I set it a couple of different way... one where the switch goes from +70/0/-70 and when I flip it the channel doesn't move off 0 ... when I have it on a slider or knob if I move the knob slowly nothing happens.. if I turn it quickly it does change?? I will make a short video and put it on my YouTube channel and put a link here so you can see what I talking about.

Thanks, Bob

Oh, maybe the problem is, because it is showing you used Global Gain for the controller. Not absolute value.
It will not show you negative value. So maybe it is OK and if you have 70 and -70 the difference is, that with the second there should be stated, that the Stabilisation is active if you have configured Function: Stabilisation.

Once you will see Head-Lock + Stabilisation, it is activated and will work as you have described.

Please make sure that you have not configured it according the second way of Stabi mode activation - through dedicated channel.
So it is very important you have not configured F: Stabi function in the General/Channels.

Hmmm... I don't have the F: Stabi set... I also do not have the "Bank" mode switch set up... when the program is running and on the "Stabi" tab it just shows Disabled and Active bank selection at the bottom is grayed out. When looking at the Diagnose tab... I never get "Head-Lock + Stabilize" ,, here are some screen shots they may help you figure out what I'm doing wrong.. really the only channel I have setup is ch5, tried it on a switch locking the setting to the + side or - side... or directing it to a slider R & L the left slider moves ch5 from -1 to -100... R slider 0 to +100... Do you have a Tx you can load and look at OpenTx 2.2.0 .OTX file (no longer using the .eepe) I post it here! anyway... below are some screen shots... if there is a screen shot that would help... let me know and I'll attach it!

Thanks for your help... I really want this to work! Bob

ALSO... if you notice in the channel 5 screen... it never shows a negative gain? even though my Tx is going to the negative side of 0 ???

Thank you for the screenshots!

Now I can see, that you have Stabi/Function configured to Disabled. This mean, that that Stabilisation can't work, because is not enabled.
You have to set Stabi/Function to Stabilisation as I have described earlier. Then everything will work.

Also I have described in other thread, that you will not see negative value, because it is displaying value that will be used for the actual mode you can see (Head-Lock/Normal).

So solution is just to set Stabi/Function to a Stabilisation mode.

Ahhhh... I think I know what your saying... maybe... do you mean like this... I thought I need to have "bank switching" on for that... I will load these new setting and see how it works... Still not sure why the ch5 gain moves erratically... maybe this will help... thanks
