During setup, if I select "Pirouette optimization" it would be nice if you can remove the USB cable from the Spirit. That way it is easy to turn the helicopter freely without cables attached. If I do this and reconnect the USB cable, the software does not respond. Restarting the application doesn't work. (Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit.) What I do is reboot my PC and disconnect/reconnect the lipo to my helicopter. After that, all works again as expected. No big deal, but maybe something to look into when time allows. Thx! |

I can simulate the problem doing the following. - Start the Spirit application with NO usb dongle and thus NO unit attached. - The application wil ask: "Demo mode, Unit was not detected. Do you want to switch to demo mode?" - Select NO. - The software now looks unstable if you click the Update tab. - A pop-up will tell you the connection is unstable. - Click Exit. - The app now freezes and shows (Not Responding.) - The Windows Application Log shows an Error (Application Hang) with event ID 1002. Code: The program settings.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel. Process ID: 42c Start Time: 01d076f5debb06a0 Termination Time: 1 Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Spirit Setings\settings.exe Report Id: 3f991614-e2e9-11e4-af88-005056c00008 Hope this helps. |
