Post subject: | Weak stick priority during Auto rescue |
I am new to the spirit world , just installed a spirit GT and I noticed that after set up I placed stick priority at 8 for all 3 rescue modes in my bank switching setup . And with that setting I have good cyclic stick authority in stability mode and normal rescue mode , however in Automatic rescue mode I have almost no cyclic stick priority . I know I can increase the setting all the way up to 16 to compensate. However I’m curious why there would be such a big difference only in automatic rescue? Maybe I’m missing something, but I would think stick priority setting would work similarly throughout all modes . Is it a bug that can be fixed or is it something we have to live with ? |

Hi i absolutely do not want to question your need... just curious: why do you need a high(er) amount of stick control during auto rescue. in fact, it is supposed to be a flight situation, where you have lost flight control and - whatever your stick positions may be - Spirit unit is trying to save the heli. too much stick control in this moment will most of the time be against this goal personally, i am using auto rescue just to practice new complicated moves and doing so i am even reducing stick priority... otherwise it will not be able to do it's job. |

I could see how you wouldn’t want any stick priority if you were in a giant wide open space . However I’m not that lucky , should an obstacle become an issue I would like the opportunity to steer away from it . However your question doesn’t help with “why” of the question I posed . Which is why s it drastically different between modes ? |
