Post subject: | Activation of rescue modes too cumbersome - easy quick fix |
Hi Tomáš, The Spirit and especially the new Spirit GT has multiple great rescue modes, of which several would make sense for the same model. For instance on a 3-way switch I'm using the following functions: Mode 1 - Rescue (Normal) Mode 2 - Stabilization (Acro) Mode 3 - Rescue (Automatic) In order to achieve this I found no other way but to use all 3 banks. On top of this I had to set 2 logical switches with OR operation for activation of my Mode 2 and Mode 3 and for activation of Mode 1 by a separate one way switch. This is very very complicated and therefore error prone. My suggestions: Relativley easy fix when using banks for selecting up to 3 resuce modes: All modes including Rescue (Automatic), but except for Rescue (Normal) and Rescue (Acro), could be engaged automatically whith the selection of the corresponding bank e.g. by a parameter such as "Engage with bank selection = Yes / No (default No)". This would eliminate the need for complicated switch settings using logical switches or even Mixers for radios that do not have logical switches. >>>Please consider this suggestions as it would make the rescue modes so much simpler to use already<<< In the long run the rescue mode activation and engagement should get a coherent redesign that allows activation of multiple rescue modes without the need to use banks (which one would rather use for other flying paramters e.g. one bank for low rpm another for something else, which I believe is this original intend of the banks. A dedicated channel could enable three different rescue modes. Best regards, Bernd |

If 'rescue type' could be selected by assigning a channel that would eliminate the need to use up banks. This wasn't a big deal previously but now we have auto-rescue you really need at least two different rescue mode options because 'auto' cant be left on all the time. |
