So I start now to program all the functions on the GeoLink , and not found the most important, the function is what must the GeoLink do, in case Signal lost from the transmitter. The usually is Return to the point where the last time the motor starts ( or Take-off). What’s mean the GeoLink software when I switch the channel to the opposite direction “ Programming active” what programming, a new “Return Home Position?” |

Hello, it can be programmed just by clicking at the Set Failsafe button. Then Spirit unit will do what is programmed at the current moment when signal will be missing. The safest way you can do is to program Throttle Hold, because it is extremely dangerous to have model flying on its own. Programming mean it will be learning new Home position. This function can be engaged at the ground, when model is not flying. |

Hi thanks for the Reply, better that the Heli Fly trying go back at the last starting point instead to crash after few seconds with no controled Failsafe, also that's mean switch to the Function " Return Home" and on the Failsafe button make a click. By the way have you a idea, why the GeoLink functions sometimes works and sometimes not. I have no Hobbywing Fan working. Also when it works, the Heli by reaching the minimum pre programmed altitude, pumps up and down, instead to recovery to a higher altitude. |

Hello, yes, you have to make programming as described in the manual. You can verify it later with computer if you are unsure. But programming must be always done when model is not flying. It is also possible to use automatic programming for Return to Home. There can be many reasons why GeoLink feature does not work. But without any information what you tried, what model was doing before and after it stopped working, it is very hard to help. For example what GeoLink Status LED is doing when you land? Is it flashing? If yes, then it signalize important problem - at this moment GeoLink is not operating anymore. It must be always steady solid. It is also better to ask question in forum thread that you created first (Support section). This section is dedicated for Wishlist and this thread for Failsafe. But Failsafe is there and you can program model to return to your positition if you want it already. But model should never lost signal normally. So it is not recommended in our point of view, because it can hit somebody and even kill at areas that you already can't see. It is not like a Drone, where radio signal is often poor after 100 meters, because transmitters are not that advanced. With helicopter there should be no second where you are loosing signal. Return to Home is not changing Altitude. Altitude Limit is to engage rescue when falling under certain altitude. So when your collective pitch is set to make helicopter descending, it will reactivate again soon. So then model is moving up and down. |

The Blue Led was all the time steady solid, I can send you Flight Log. I asked in the support but may you see this message earlier. They are every time more users ( WIFI ect.) with the 2.4Ghz, Europe Parlament last week authorised bigger Band for the 2.4Ghz. I hope that never have a failsafe situation, that why I like to prevent the worst. The pumping makes with the function GeoLink "Altitude Limit" |

With Altitude Limit model should not stay at desired level. Instead it should ascend as fast as possible. If you will set pitch stick to a low value, model will descend again. So you can see pumping. You should obtain full control of the model as fast as possible. |

Hi , thanks for reply, the 6.3 New Home position as described in the manual: If assigned GeoLink channel is used you have to set On (2) function state and keep it on for at least 2 seconds. At this period Status LED of the Spirit unit will turn off and after 2 seconds new Home position is programmed. Once finished the LED must turn On again.: I activate the programming switch, but the Led of the Sprit "GT" not turns off !?? |

Hello, this can happen, if GeoLink has no satellites available (GeoLink LED must be steady ON) or your model is not stationary (it is moving). Otherwise during programming LED must turn always to OFF, then after programming to ON again. Please ask new questions in new thread in the Support section. This section is not for asking questions. So people with similar problem can't find it. |
