HI
No the output to the esc from unit,in governor mode.
Using Spektrum it is possible record the telemetry from whole flight on the sdcard, and then look at a graf using pc software.in that graf you can look at amps volts rpm and output% to see that you
havent set to high rpm so the output dont goes over say 95% in any maneuver,or in the end of
flight the output isent 100% to maintain rpm.

Hi,

i guess this would be solved with implementation of what we've been discussing already some months ago: add Hobbywing (and other Escs) Esc's PWM% (the real power output % from Esc to motor) to the telemetry items. this is exactly the value you are searching... and it is the correct value wether you are using Esc's gov or Spirit's gov. for me too this is missing... it is the most important telemetry value (for me) during setup/tuning of a new drive train.

that's why i am still using jlog s32 with my Spirits... see example below: white: rotor rpms, grey: the PWM % needed, dark gray: Throttle % (linear, as i am using HW gov)

i am sure Tomas could add this easily in Spirit Esc telemetry...

Hello Tomas,

Sorry, but i have to ask again... as i am just preparing to order the next 2 Spirit units... and i definitely would prefer to go with Spirit RS (and not Spirit 2 + Rex3). but as long as i do have to attach additional external sensor for full Esc telemetry (jLog S32 for the missing "Esc PWM%" - the most important Esc/motor tuning value during setup)... i do not have enough free ports on RS unit as there will be other sensors needing EXT too (i.e. MTAG battery id sensor).

so my question: is there a chance that the missing telemetry value "Esc PWM%" will be included in one of the next updates? (the value is provided by most actual ESCs like YGE, Hobbywing, Kontronik, Scorpion, Jeti, ... )

thx a lot
Michael

Yes, it will be included likely in version 3.3.
