Please add the option to have the home position set when the geolink is powered up.

Forgetting to set the home position at a new field would ruin my day.

All my gps enabled models save home as the power-on location, except geolink so the chance of forgetting to set it, for me, will be very high.

You can do this with radio powered in RTH programming mode.

We can eventually add feature which will detect where the RTH point is and if it is too far from configured position it will use position from power up.
Anyway automatic RTH reprogramming is not always clever for multiple reasons.
Helicopters are not drones and it could be very dangerous to hover near the lift off position.

If i forget to set the new home position, and a failsafe occurs, will my heli attempt to fly and land 5 miles away at the other field I fly at?

I'd really like RTH position to be set when the power is applied. People at the RTH location can move out the way if a failsafe occurs at the field, not so much for a runaway heli due to failsafe.

Power on often happens in the pits or "ready box" and the heli should stay away from there at all cost.

Can the "set home position" be triggered when BOTH the throttle AND pitch are above a preset value? ? (AND function) so the location where the heli spools up (increase in head rpm ect) AND then increased pitch for the actually take off
Its relative save to assume that those conditions happen only at the intended take off location and that location is save to return to .

This should be a optional setting the user can choose to use and not default since it requires the user to set what rpm and pitch values should trigger the action.
