But if i may ask again because you might have missed it, can you comment on the different mounting options? Specially if it's recommended that it be on the tail boom, will there be a mounting kit for tail boom set up as opposed to double sided tape on the frame?

Normally we will recommend usage of double sided tape for the following reasons:

• it is very light
• it is holding module very well even if the tail boom is rounded and is just few mm thick.
• in case of a crash there is a chance the module can move thus not absorbing all the impact forces.
• it is possible to mount at any surface and to shape it as needed.
• potentially it allows mounting at any part of the model, but tail boom is preferred.

We have found other third party solutions that can be used easily but it is also very likely we will design our own soon.
But we would like to find a solution that could be used also on a full fuselage models.

Thanks Tomas. Your response gave us an idea on how to go about it until after official/third party mounting options come out. Even on the Oxy2 and Goblin 280 which are two of the smallest of the five initial helis i would like to test the module with i already have a mounting option at the ready. I made them shortly after i saw the pictures you posted has no mounting on it. But thanks to the pictures and dimensions, it was easy to make one during my down time. I just need those modules to confirm if i did them right.

I also have an idea on Protos Evo with it's weird tail boom. I just need to buy some hardware once i see the Geo link on hand.

Modules for testers will be shipped from next week. Depending on our needs and abilities of testers it will be shipped to more and more pilots.
Once nobody will find any odd behavior, it will be released and shipped to all.

In the meantime we will try to release some flight videos.

Was the reason for the gradual roll out of the module due to the different gps factors depending on locality? Man, if that was one of the reasons, i now wish I live in Timbuktu or someplace super remote with no other rc pilot . That way, I'll surely get one. I will push that module to its very limits using the Oxy2. It's a tough helicopter with cheap parts with ready-made tail boom mounting to boot.

I suggest you include at least the option to pick a longer jst wire for those who are flying helis with tapered tail booms like Goblin 380 or Protos Evo. Because for example for the Evo, one can only make a proper mounting point at the untapered part (parallel to the blade and perpendicular to the shaft) which is already 8 inches/ 20 mm from the boom block then another 5 inches/ 12cm to go down the belly which is the only place you can mount a Spirit specially the Pro.

An option at least.

22cm is really short. In my 550 Heli i need at least 50cm from tail (geolink) to head (spirit pro). The first thing what to do when cable arrive is soldering
