Hi, while updating the Spirit unit firmware to 2.5.1 the aileron servo went to full travel about 60% of the way through the flashing procedure! I was not sure what to do, afraid of disconnecting the unit in case of corruption, so let it finish updating. The servo was buzzing away of course, but apart from getting a bit warm seems to be okay, and the unit took the update. I thought I had better let you know. Eric.

Hi,
unfortunately it is "normal" with some servos. They can't handle well condition when suddenly no signal is coming out of the Spirit unit. This is independent on a version you are flashing or running.
Fortunately it look like we will find workaround in near future for the problem. If you are afraid about the servos, we recommend to disconnect them before the update. But otherwise nothing wrong can happen.
