Hi, I wonder if it was possible to use a tail ESC instead of a tail servo. If so, what should I take care of? Regards, Alexander |

What do you mean by Tail ESC? Do you want to connect ESC to the CH4 port? What is the reason for this? |

Yes, that is what I was thinking about. I have a small heli with a tail-motor driven by a separate ESC. |

Yes, it is possible. But the tuning will be little bit different than with normal servo. |

Thank you for the information! I am sure there will be differences compared to a servo, a motor is much slower in any reaction, there are not really rudder endpoints... Should I use slowest frequency for the ESC? |

60 Hz should be fine. You can use rudder endpoints to set throttle range for the ESC. |
