Have there been updates in the last release or two on the governor, the sensor or general operability as it applies to a gasser?
The success of gov engagement, or sensor noise, and attaining rock solid headspeed has been a rare thing for me over the last many years of Spirit/gasser usage (and I've worked diligently at this during the flying season).
The recommendation of putting both magnets in the same direction doesn't work on a gasser given the drive arrangement and instead we use, need to use, the magnets in the flywheel.
Now I'm preparing for a new gasser and I'm really questioning if I have the fortitude to try to make the Spirit Gov work. Multi-gov is the back up plan (never used, but I've heard good things about it.
So, again, have there been any advances that will make the governor easier to make work for a gasser?
Thanks, Scott
