Tomas,

What is the estimated release for the new firmware? Can we expect it sometime in the next month or so?

Also, which features will be added with this firmware update?

Gov function? Bank Switching? etc?

Thank you, I can't wait for the update! Greatly looking forward to having the Gov feature again!

Tomas,

Since many of the failures during Rescue seem to be happening with insufficient BEC's, is there anyway you can add a BEC tester into the software with the next update?

Maybe something that quickly moves all servos throughout their full range of motion to put a lot of load on the BEC to test it before trying it in the air? I believe mini v-bar has something similar.

I realize the loads on the servos in the air are much greater than even full fast throws on ground, however, it could be a good way to help people determine if their BEC's are insufficient before it is too late and their heli crashes. From the Helifreak forum it seems that is bar far the biggest cause of failures with Rescue.

This is good idea, I think it will be possible, maybe in 1.0.26 or even 1.0.25.1.

Thanks! For now, the easiest test is to set collective pitch to max. negative position and then to start activating rescue as fast as possible.
This should help too.

Very nice work Tomas! I got to put 8 packs through my X3 on the new firmware and love it! Feels even more solid and locked in than before, the tail does not kick at all on pitch pumps now, and bank switching is great!

I tried bumping the flight style up to 6 on one of the banks and didn't like it much, to slow for my tastes with slow roll rates, Might help with fast roll rates though to tame down the slower stick movements.

Being able to put the ESC (internal BEC) directly into the FBL is a great improvement over running the power to the rx then it going through the inverter cable to power the FBL. I have the Tarot Sbus adapter so it is rather thin wire. I feel much more comfortable with this setup!

Thank you for your hard work! Definetly has paid off!

I can't wait for the addition of the gov so I can stop running the FBL gov!
