This is something done by some of the helicommand guys.

The reasoning behind the idea was - Your most likely in a dumb thumbs moment if your needing to bailout. During this brain freeze moment some may unconsciously be giving stick inputs that could interfere with bailout. So they mix out elevator and aileron to zero center during rescue. They mix into same switch as bailout. Only active with bailout. Once rescue switch released bailout stops, elevator and aileron back to normal.

Good idea with spirit?

This can be achieved with Stick priority parameter.
Set it to 0 and it should be exactly as you described.

I'm used to stick priority. Basically ignore stick inputs during rescue.

Would there be any advantage to using a mix to achieve same goal - as in a straighter vertical climb out on x-axis during rescue?
