First let me start by saying I know this is not supported and should NOT be used for firmware updates. I have seen a few comments in another thread that it will work if I set the Baud rate to 56k. I found the command reference for the RN42 module but before I start hacking away at the module I was wondering if any of you can provide the commands I need to enter. I am assuming I need to do the following: Connect though Putty ??? <-- Enter command mode SU,57 <-- Set UART baud rate to 57,600 --- <-- Exit command mode Then disconnect and reboot. Is this correct? |

You do not need to reconfigure your module at all. It should be only matter of PC configuration. |

It unfortunately does not matter any more as it looks like my stupidity caused me to fry my Bluetooth module. I accidentally connected it to a battery with the poles reversed. Stupid me
