I moved the positioning of the FBL to ensure it was on a perfectly flat surface and mounted it using only 1 mounting pad. It is without question more stable now and perfectly aligned. However, I fear I may have moved it too far away. Is it an issue if the FBL is a bit farther away form the main shaft? Will it being a bit farther away effect flight performance in any way? Also, I made an adapter for my bluetooth module and hooked it up, however, the Spirit software is not recognizing it. My computer recognizes it. I am wondering if it has to be names "Spirit" or something? I had this same issue when setting up the mini v-bar bluetooth. The module had to be named "Vbar" to be recognized. Does the bluetooth need to be named something for the spirit software to detect it? If so, what do I need to name it? Thank you! |

Could be possible to add in the software a BT management, something like in Brain/Ikon software ? |

Great! It does not matter how far it is, it should work anywhere. Only factor which can make a difference is a mounting. BT module has to be configured to 57600 baud rate. Without this it wont work. I can tell you how to program it if you will. |

Please, if you don't mind. Thank you! On another note. I am trying to figure out how to best wire up my 6HVU. I have 2 questions. 1. Can I power the second sat with a y cable on the sat port and just run the signal wire I to the main unit? The voltage is already properly regulated and amp draw is not much on the sat rx. 2. I am running a castle creations 120 HV ESC. It does not use a BEC. I run a SBEC that has 2 power leads I would like to use. Can I plug just the signal wire Into the FBL unit from the ESC and power it with the SBEC? Is there any reason to have the positive and negative wires from the ESC if I am not using it as a power source and just need it to read the throttle input? Thank you! |

You can download Putty software and reprogram it. But it depends on your BT module. I dont know which one it is. There are different AT commands for each. In case of separate ESC and BEC you should disconnect + (red) wire in connector of the ESC. |

Can I just use the signal wire from the ESC and plug it into the top (empty) port on the SBEC servo connector? Or do I have to connect the black wire of the ESC to the - (black) wire of the SBEC? |

The reason is that if it is not connected and both BEC and ESC are powered from a difference power source (battery) then circuit is open between ESC and the unit. So ESC can't recognize any signal. This is a reason to connect - (ground) wire from ESC too. |

Ok, I will splice them together. I need to get some Y cables so I don't need to splice! I'll order some. |

It is not needed to splice it at all. You can just remove center pin from a plastic connector case. But with Y cable it can be even easier. |

But if I want to connect the SBEC leads into that port I have to splice it with the ESC's wires don't I? I may just start with 1 power lead at first as I am only running the servos at 6v's, low headspeeds, and a 600 size heli not a 700. |
