I'm seeing if I can get my tail to hold solid on my agile 5.5 while running a low head speed. The only way I seem to be able to achieve it to hold in hard pitch maneuvers is to add a bit of revomix, because they have a low tail gear ratio. On doing this The tail held fine, very slight movement in pitch pumps, but if I hover and pull the ele stick back I find that the tail drops, but it also drops to the left. It looks as though I am adding some left aileron. So I added a lot of expo to my tx and it still did it. When I tried it I the bench I see the tail slider moved when I give ele or ail commands. Not heaps of movement but I think this is causing the issue. Should this be happening when I've added revomix? I am using the spirit pro, normally no revomix with a higher HS, tail is solid and it tilts straight when pulling the eke stick back. Cheers. |

Yes, this is normal. If you are seeing odd behavior, then the revomix value is probably too high. I recommend maximally value of 4. But instead of Revomix you can always increase Pirouette Consistency which acts as revomix but naturally. This could solve tail holding in low RPM. |
