Hi Would I be able to use the RPM sensor from my tm1000 telemetry system for the spirit. I am thinking of cutting off the small white plug and connecting the plus and minus wires to any power, and the orange sensor wire to the pit pin. Would this work ok, and would the voltag be ok.
Thank you. Any help would be grateful.

Hi,
normally you can't use one RPM sensor for two different devices. It may work if signal lead will be shared between both, but I do not recommend it. So it is better to use in one or another.

Hi I won't be using the tm1000 on the heli, I just wondered if I could use the rpm sensor that came with it for the spirit govener.
Thank you

Oh yes, most probably sensor will work well. But you have to be carefull to power it properly. It is most probably powered with 3.3V, but wire colors may be not standard.

I use the Align sensor plugged into the TM1000. Wires unchanged, Spliced a wire from white to the center pin on PiT.
All functions work fine for both gov and telemetry.
