Hi

I now understand the giro settings for bail out. Does stability mode still use the same setup, ie a - ve giro entry becomes the tail gain in stability or does it change the amount of stability given ?

Thanks

Ritchie

it is the same, it sets the tail gain. The amount of control given during stability is set in the computer software.

Once there is bank switching you will be able to have different levels of stability set up to meet you needs.

Is there a way to change it at the moment jman? There is a new member at the club who wants it badly, i tried turning it on with mine but the heli seemed even harder to control. It just wanted to do its own thing

It is the stabilisation mode, where your helicopter steering is similar to coaxial helicopter.
You can set stabilisation parameters in the Stabi tab to behave closely to your needs.

There are two parameters for the stabilisation - stick priority and direction control rate.

Does it drift immediately after spoolup?
You can make sure if the unit is mounted perpendicular (especially in aileron axis). If so, changing center of gravity will help - if possible move your battery or servo to the side where it drifts.
Is your swashplate in the horizontal position before spoolup when you activate the stabilisation mode?
