Downloaded and installed the new firmware. Something went wrong, now it won't bind. Get a single repeating tone from the motor, sats don't blink at all. Tried to rebind, but it's not going in bind mode.
Please advise.

Hello,

there is nothing changed in the binding procedure.
Make sure that your receiver type is set to Spektrum DSM2/DSMX else it won't bind.

Maybe you have did Factory reset?
If you can hear beeps from the ESC, then your throttle channel is inactive, so most probably wrong receiver type.

The Spirit unit has been working on my X3 for weeks now. I have not changed any wiring. I had it bound to my DX8, USB plugged in to PC. Downloaded the new firmware, it loaded fine and flashed to the unit, indicated "flash complete". I then unplugged the lipo as indicated. Tried to reboot the heli and now it won't bind, sats don't light up and I get one repeating tone from the ecs/motor. Unable to re-connect to the software.

I flew this heli about an hour ago, it has been flying fine, no issues. Only change was the new flash. Perhaps the flash didn't go as planned. How can I reflash it without being able to bind or connect to the software?

Ah, thats sad.

Then there is not a problem with binding at all.
If the unit LED is OFF, then something went wrong with flashing the firmware.

I would agree with you. The Spirit light is not on.
I'm sure a re-flash will work. Please let me know how to do this.

For the future version we will add checking technique if the firmware is downloaded correctly so it can't happen again.
This is not your fault, but it is hard to prevent this.

I read only czech news and there isn't md5 sum. I'm happy that my downloaded FW is OK
