I know if I want to use two Spektrum satellites I need to connect an adapter cable to the RUD port for one of them. However, there are two different cables available and I cannot find any documentation on the differences. Why would I choose one over the other?

Hi,
you can use both of them. V2 is better in the way that you do not need Spektrum cable that comes with satellite thus it should be safer.
