Why is this proving so difficult, really shouldn't be!
I am trying to set a "Normal", "Idle 1" and "Idle 2" mode with corresponding spoken outputs.
Just doesn't seem to want to play nicely with switch positions.
What am I doing wrong??
There shouldn't be any care as to what these modes are called - I am used to calling these Normal, Idle 1 and Idle 2.
I had problems with the spoken output when I first got the transmitter.
Am I misunderstanding something fundamental, or just being stupid about something. This is why there should be a written manual.
I have got most things sussed, but this should have been so much easier. I know printed manuals are expensive.
Am I misunderstanding priority settings or something as such?
Regards,
Andy

I want to say that I have been flying RC helicopters for more than 43 years.
I didn't think I was stupid with some of this stuff?
I am starting to feel stupid.

Andy

Model menu

Add
Highlite
Set
Click coloured switch button
Toggle desired switch on radio
Confirm
3 slide buttons... Swipe right on switch position desired
Swipe window left

Switch on voice output if not already
Click change
Type in box name of flight mode
Click return on keyboard

Repeat above for each mode you want

Ps it may not let you choose a new name for flight mode if connected to receiver. Power off model

Hello,

I have no idea how this could be difficult, because procedure takes just 2 steps. You can do them at any moment.

To enable Flight Mode Voice Output:you need to go to Model - Flight Mode - there enable Voice Output for each Flight mode where you want Voice Output.
For each flight mode set desired Voice Output text. Nothing else is really needed, these steps can be reproduced easily with new model.

I have no idea at which step you have problem, it could take all less than one minute. If something is not clear, please let me know.

Thank you each!
I have no idea either why it should be difficult, but it IS proving to be.
Like I had previous problems with the speech output being inconsistent when I first got the radio some months ago, it just was.
The upgrade suggested, did work for a while, but is again now not remembering speech output settings, even after checking output.
Certain chosen speech phrases are being altered, etc.
I have tried disconnected from the model, many times! The setting process gives the impression that this should work very simply, but it is not doing what it is supposed to do.
I have recently upgraded the radio firmware and that of the W1, however.
I am going to try one last time this evening.

Andy

It appears that certain phrases might be protected, like 'Throttle Hold', or associated with the Throttle Hold?
