Normally it should just work, so with no additional details I can only recommend to unplug everything that is not necessary from the Spirit unit.
It could be anything from bad wiring to damaged GeoLink or Spirit.
Is GeoLink new?
Are you still able to open GeoLink window and see details such as GeoLink firmware version?
It is not necessary to do calibration outside. It will work anywhere.
