After setting up the WiFi link mode to the Ap+client mode, I wanted to switch to back to the Ap mode.
After switching to the AP mode, WiFi link persist on connecting (scanning) to the WiFi network it was connecting to when it was in the AP+ Client mode, even showing it is on the Ap mode, because the network name appears under the configured network field. After cycling the power, the WiFi link goes back to the AP+Client mode.
I’ve flashed the unit and changed the mode several times and the issue isn’t solved. I can’t erase the configured network information from the unit.
This is an original WiFi link module with the latest WiFi firmware, 6.1.
I’ll appreciate help to solve this.

Is there a way to reset the WiFi link module to the factory state?

Hello,
default settings of the Wifi-Link is AP+Client. Behavior is basically just like AP mode but additionally module is connecting to other WiFi network. In other words it is not a problem at all to leave it as AP+Client. It is safety protection to make it always accessible in case you forgot password for AP for example.
Unfortunately the only way to reset is by shipping it to us. But reset will not change the behavior.
You can set a wrong password for Client if you dont wish to access your network.
