Hi,

I updated to version 3.6.1 of Spirit software and latest version of Wifi Link 3.6.0., and wifi connection doesn’t work. WiFi connection worked before updating.

The Spirit software connects with the USB dongle.
I can connect to the WiFi Link using my browser and see the settings normally.

Antivirus and firewall checked and not interfering, but were disabled for testing.

Running software on Windows 10 Home.

Your help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
David

It is enough to set IP Address for the Wifi-Link again in the software using CTRL+W.

Thanks for the help.

Pressed CTRL-W.
IP shown was correct.
Nevertheless, I clicked unlink.
Cleared IP and reentered it.
Now it connects. But…
After a couple of minutes, software disconnects.
Then, I have to close and open it to reconnect.
This behavior keeps happening constantly.

Please make sure that nothing else is accessing Wifi-Link. Especially not smartphone or other device.
This behavior was never happening before, correct?

Your Wifi-Link is not the older one (green), right? If it is green and you are using more recent unit then the module could require hardware upgrade.

It happened before but not as frequent.
I remember the Tx response was slower with the wifi connection but it’s not happening now. I I think I read there was a fix for that in one of the updates.

Today, the software and wifi module worked fine.

I’m using a Sprit Pro with the green WiFi module.
