today i was flying and I activated altitude limit geolink v2. the helicopter went high normally when it activates altitude limit geolink v2 and in theory now it had to be activated. but altitude limit was not active, the model could also land. If I'm trying a maneuver and i am sure that altitude limit is active and then after I crash why altitude limit it does not work his work becomes useless. It can be added an alarm or a parameter altitude type that when it gets to 100000 it means that altitude limit doesn't work? and my radio gets the error and I understand that it is not active? Any way to know before the crash that altitude limit is not working properly. PS Usually I activate altitude limit and from the start I see that the model does not go up and in this case I understand that it is not active so i turn it off and on again. but if i activate and the model goes high I'm sure it's active and when I maneuver I trust at altitude limit and after i crash and it's not good. keep in mind that my radio i can see and i have the logs of many geolink values. To say it doesn't work you can use an impossible value which means altitude limit not active an example 10000meters of altitude they are impossible, when it goes wrong let that value appear for 1 second and an alarm goes off on the radio and notifies you that altitude limit geolink is not active. i have log i have settings file what you need i can send you. This thing happens with automatic rescue in stabi mode? I can also disable altitude limit and use rescue automatic |

I forgot of saying when i activate the altitude limit andhe doesn't actually activate I just disable it the altitude limit and activate it again. but I would make it 100% reliable. Listen if you want to know how it worksto improve it I report the problems, but if you tell me the control unit is that and make it right, ok I don't report the problems to you. don't think it's easy for me write in english. I take a long time to write. For now altitude limit 8 times out of 10 it works. But sometimes it doesn't turn on. It happened to me on 2 different helicopter models. you're going to fix these times in which altitude limit does not activate perfectly? |

Hello, I am trying to understand the problem, but it is very hard for me. In any case if you feel that some feature does not work, this could happen if GeoLink will loose connection with Spirit unit. If this will happen then event "GeoLink connection was broken" will be visible in the Flight Log of the Spirit unit. Can you verify that after flying you will not see this event in the Flight Log? This will be very helpful, because it will affect all GeoLink features. |

ok now i see. in simple terms i activated rescue automatic but really altitude limit was not active. this thing happens 2 times out of 10. |

Thank you for explanation. It indicate there is some bigger problem. It will not engage if there is no good connection between GeoLink and Spirit unit. Flight Log of the Spirit unit will contain Corrupted data and Broken connection of the GeoLink if this is happening. In this case no GeoLink function will work well. |

Check your transmitter setup, if you have in all Idl's, the same setup ! franz88 wrote: ok now i see.

zexx86 I checked today and there are many things wrong. 1) i went out where there are satellites and while downloading logs and settings at the PC I have noticed that sometimes the blue light from fixed flashes for one second and then it comes back fixed. I think that time it doesn't work it depends on the fact that the connection is not stable for a second. it flashed and I noticed it by pure chance. on my radio parameters never disappear they are stable. the logs are stable tension log is stable no geolink error message your geolinks do they have a solid blue light?I just happened to see the flash blue light just by pure chance I had never noticed you have to put yourself carefully to see it I installed a fan on the esc can it be annoying? 2)in geolink - map why they are not recorded the new logs? in select to log view i can only see two old logs. why? 3)I noticed the laser measurement it's not so good. if I put my hand below the geolink laser sensor meters change to 0 but if I lift the helicopter in up meters remain 0.1 or 0.2 even if I get up the helicopter by a meter or two, while the barometer is the best one if I raise the heli one meter he marks a metre. but this point number 3 it may depend from assembly I don't want to unbalance the geolink much. anyway regardless of everything I'm interested to know i can use rescue automatic spirit gtr and rescue normal o selected by channel Together? obviously not at the same time. why in stabi mode i can't select selected by channel and rescue automatic either I choose one or I choose the other. I could disable altitude limit and use rescue automatic but i want to use rescue normal too [quote="Dr.Fleming"]Check your transmitter setup, if you have in all Idl's, the same setup ! yes I use the same settings for all idles

Yes you can setup by channel VN Function and Manual Rescue , also in the background VN, and if need in case, Manual rescue with a Trainer switch. Really ? : Dr.Fleming wrote: Check your transmitter setup, if you have in all Idl's, the same setup !
yes I use the same settings for all idles. Than your transmitter setup is wrong, if you have same settings for all idles. franz88 wrote: zexx86 I checked today and there are many things wrong. 1) i went out where there are satellites and while downloading logs and settings at the PC I have noticed that sometimes the blue light from fixed flashes for one second and then it comes back fixed. I'd like to know if it's my problem or a firmware problem. Why the connectors are ok I use hot glue to avoid movement during vibration. connected to the pc and check, open your eyes why flashes for only one second and you can ignore it. I don't even understand why it doesn't log (log geolink) |

Hello, I think we have to go through each problem separately and focus on a single problem at the same time. First - logging and few other important features depends on Vibration Level. ESC fan could make it work incorrectly if it is producing too high vibrations even when model is still. If ESC fan is running, GeoLink is still recording but will not save log until vibration level drops. For this reason you might not see another logs. We will change this in next update, because some ESC fans are producing exceptionally high vibrations. You can test it by disconnecting ESC fan if this could be this problem. When model will land, you should always see short blink of the Status LED - this will signal that GeoLink log was saved. If computer is connected then Status LED can go off and on, especially if you are in a building. |
