Hello, I've been fighting rescue not working well on a new Spirit GT in a nitro. I'll get it working by moving it to the back of the heli instead of up front like it currently is, but I wanted to ask, are the newer sensors more sensitive to vibration than the older ones? I ask because I previously used Spirit Pro units in gas helicopters and rescue was always perfect. I took 0 precautions to get it smooth and it always worked without issue. I know that newer sensors in general tend to be, is that true with the Spirit GT as well? Would I be better off using a Spirit 2 in this helicopter? |

Hello, sensors in Spirit GT are few times better than sensor in Spirit Pro. Presently there is no better sensor in the market actually. So if there is some problem due to vibrations, then your vibrations are really extremely high and your model should not fly. Even very first Spirit units had no problems with nitro or gasser helicopters. So with Spirit Pro it would not work with even 2 times smaller vibrations correctly to give you idea how bad the vibrations must be. It is also possible there is some very different problem. For example Mounting position, Swashplate type is not set correctly. |
