Can someone please give me a quick lesson in cyclic gain, rudder gain and rudder commin gain? Ive desperately tried to lift off my new 230 bell but its just INTENSE! I cant keep it within a 5x5m spot without loosing control. And thats in stabi scale even. Tried to dumb it down with less sensetivity and feed forward down to 4... still uncapable to fly. |

could you tell something about your head geometry setup? what is the value for 6° and cyclic ring? what is the cyclic gain, common gain and rudder gain set at? and your cyclic/tail rotation speed? or maybe even post your setup file of bank 0. the best guide to tuning cyclic/rudder can be found here: https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... ning_Guide |

My 2 blade 700trex has the same setup and i could land on a tip of an egg with it. Thats why im so shocked over responsivness and unstability of this one. Cyclic is now at 55% will it be calm or touchy if i go higher? Rudder gain at 1.20 and common at 60% i think. 1.76m rotordim, so not sure if its something mechanical or in fbl. But the 6degree setting .. this one has allways been hard for me to understand. Is it correct at while tuning 6c my blade link should be at highest point of swash?? The reading i manual is really difficult for me without pictures explaining what to do |

Here is my 2blade. I can leave the remote and its stabile

the 6° should be set with "blades parallel to the boom", so with a 4-blade head i guess it's just "measure with the one blade above the boom". but really exactly above the boom (and of course perfect level swash and 0 pitch etc before to do this one). this parameter is really important to be spot on for good flying characteristics... ! nb: ... i do not have experience with 4-blades setup, so maybe there are some guys here to help much better than i can. especially when it comes to cyclic problems |

Wait, what?? 6degree tuning is measuren the blade going with boom? Wow.. ive allways measured it almost at ailerion angle sort of speak. Was told to measure it on the highest point of the swash, thats where it would be.. around 45degree on the front right side if seen from Behind |

"You need to rotate your rotor head with blades to be parallel to the longitudinal axis of the model"... maybe this could be different for different special swash type (as said: i do not know - but maybe your 4-head is different), but that's how it is in general. be sure that the blade is really straight in the grip to not distort the measurement. Yeah exactly.. this is why i would love to see pics. English is not my native language so this just confuses me.. also. Would this be the same for 4/5/6 blades as for 2? |

If its done the way i think ive done it .. i should be within 6-6.5 degree.. i just dont understnd why its so extremely sensetiv/twitchy to all axes |
