Hello im using your spirit gt with geolink on my align 450 with a radiomaster tx16s 4in1 on edge tx. I have been using a flysky Fs-ia6b reciever via s-bus without any issues however I haven't been able to use the spirit lua in my radio to adjust anything and only get the Fs-ia6b telemetry.

Is my flysky reciever compatible?

If not which reciever would be best for full spirit and edgetx compatibility?

Despite having full lock on the ground on my geolink ive found my 450 doesn't stay put in the air when position hold is activated. It returns to home good but wanders off in position hold.

When position hold is active should stability be inactive? Or is there a gain i need to turn up?

attempt with radiomaster tx16s with module 4in1 there's a mode for set to best the RSSI I have radiomaster tx16s mark2 max with module 4in1 but with spirit i use jeti ds12 spirit edition and other my friends use satellite spektrum dsmx with spektrum dx9i.
There is a value to set RSSI and find the number exact for have RSSI as powerful as possible.
I remember reading one thing about it, but spirit gt has the possibility to record logs in flight.
in diagnostic - open advanced flight viewer.
Try to see if he always receives well the channel sent by radio.
Put the model on the ground and get away simulating the distance you use to fly.
When you are distant begins to give commands with the radio (maybe a friend of yours can see if the commands respond well) and after you can read the logs to see if you had signal loss.
An advice, try all positions, with radio in front of the model, with radio side to the model.
if it's ok, use that receiver, otherwise pick the receivers that work best with spirit.
zexx86 he will have done a lot more tests with many types of receivers.
I personally use spirit rs and geolink with jeti ds12 spirit edition, spirit rs has a built-in receiver for jeti

Here you will find some answers.
https://manual.spirit-system.com/index.php?title=OpenTX_Integration
You definitely need LUA scripts compatible with Edge. Then you need a Receiver that not only transfers telemetry to your Radiomaster but is also compatible with Spirit integration.
I think you will need some receivers from Frsky and use the ACCST D16 transmission protocol with telemetry.

I'm not sure if OpenTX LUAs will be fully compatible with Edge.
I personally also use Jeti, but I also have experience with Frsky Ethos and Archer receivers with the ACCESS system and connecting the unit using Fbus.

To franz88: your answer is completely off topic

he has 4 in 1 module, this module it's compatible with all receivers.
he asked which receiver is compatible.
has a large choice of alternatives, if he intends change receiving why can't use telemetry.
crashappy69 on my helicopter i use return to home, and limit altitude.
but if he walks away there is some setting done wrong.
But only if you activate those functions does the helicopter leave?
If you go hovering the model stays in place or he walked away?
you can post one screen of the page geolink settings:
info
module
when you go to the screen make sure that the geolink points north and that they take the satellites (go to a point where it takes)

Why if the problem it only comes out when you activate the geolink function, we we need to check the geolink settings.
But if you always have the problem, there is a problem in the spirit settings.

Hello,
the way to go are frsky receivers with ACCST D16 (with telemetry), for example RX6R or R-XSR -
Use it with FPort protocol to get telemetry and steering signals over one wire -
Opentx LUA script is fully compatible with edgetx - I have also an Radiomaster TX16S with Edgtx 2.83 too, with AG01 Gimbals and also an FrSky Horus X10S Express with ETHOS and ACCESS on it -

Regards

Thanks for the replies.
So yeh im flying fine on my flysky Fs-ia6b no issues just i know with other receivers better telemetry and forward programming are possible.

Frsky seems the most popular but not sure which frsky receiver, as there's a few. Id need minimum of 16ch as currently im using 12ch out of 16.

In relation to position hold
Im taking off the heli is hovering fine and steady no drift then if i activate position hold thats when it starts to drift slowly away forwards without any stick input.

Heli is all correct mechanically settings on spirit were all left stock. Is there something specific in settings i need to tweek?

How level does the heli need to be when you initialize at the field? Would it have an adverse affect if you initialize somewhere not completely level?

or at least show me the values in the tab geolink
and the photos for to see the servos at 90 degrees center stick.
and attach the settings file
otherwise we can't do much
PS
turn on the model at the point where you take off

great two things
point the nose to the north and take a screenshot of the info tab (geolink-info, with led blu on of the geolink).
select Flag for subtrim to center the servants and Take a picture of the 3 servants during the 90 degrees.
Only these two things and I understand what the problem is
