I have a new M4 on the way. Plan is to install a Spirit 2 with Geolink 2. I bought the kit version with ESC and servos.

Anything special I should be aware of? Motor Poles?

Thanks for any insight.

Hello,

there should be nothing special from other models except the motor settings.
But this can be all done in the ESC.

I have just installed a Spirit 2 with Geolink V2 on my OMP M4, using a Futaba T18szh transmitter.

Still programming for the Geolink but make sure you don't turn on Stabi + Acro mode because when you get to the ground - if you move the cyclic stick it will give you a surprise (still moves and may tip over you heli.

I ruined a set of blades (ends were scrapped) until I realized why (the swashplate doesn't return to normal unless you move your stick there).

Thanks for the info.
With the Geolink installed is your CG way off?
Also regarding Stabi Acro I would think it should be used in flight and not on take off or landing.
Perhaps Coaxial might be better if you want Stabi for that?

What exactly is Coaxial stability?

Will check CG but I am using Pulse 2200 6S packs.

Still learning how to program the Geolink and Spirit 2.

It's one of the many options under Stabi menu.
Good documentation in manual and app tool tips.
