Spirit GT FW. 3.5.0 Geolink V2 FW 1.3.3 Priority Rescue vs. Geolink Function RTH. Programming: Rescue (normal) on channel 8 Rescue collective pitch on channel 13 Geo-link return to home on channel 10
I have the suspicion that the rescue doesn't work if I turn on the RTH function. My tests: I fly inverted and turn on the rescue, the heli turns to normal position and goes up, I expected this behavior I fly normal and turn on RTH, the heli comes back and stabilizes at the programmed altitude, so far so good.
I fly in a normal position and switch on RTH and then enable rescue, the heli comes back but does not go up as desired for the rescue, I did not expect this behavior
I fly inverted and turn on RTH and then enable rescue, the heli flies inverted back at the programmed altitude, the heli does not rotate to normal nor go up. I didn't expect this! Now, while the rescue is on, I turn off the Geolink RTH, the heli immediately turns to its normal position and shoots upwards away.
My question: Is the RTH Geolink function given a higher priority than the rescue, I always thought it must be the other way around.
Thanks a lot for your help
Bye Jörg

Hello,
when using RTH with Return Altitude function it will act kind of as Rescue mode. Without Return Altitude you can combine it with Rescue mode - they will work parallely. It will return model to a home position and ascend at the same time.

Thanks a lot Tomas for your answer. It is ok for me, how it works. At first it was unusual for me that the heli remained inverted during rescue!
Ciao Jörg
