This seems to be a weird intermittent issue with a spirit gt. Everything is bound. I’m using the 4651T as my primary receiver. Connected to the ail port and rud for power. Everything seemed to be working fine.

Finished my setup but for some reason when I power up the unit with the receiver, I get a pulsing blue light on the unit and repeated attempts at initialization that don’t seem to ever succeed including some pretty aggressive servo movements.

If I power up the unit without the 4651 connected, the initialization succeeds and I can plug it in and everything works just fine after that.

All of my settings in the unit and transmitter are pretty basic. Haven’t added any real customizations yet. Not sure what might be going on.

Hello,
is your powersupply via batterie or BEC ? Maybe the BEC or Battery is too weak - I had this one time where my battery was almost discharged (NiCd) ...
Try with a better powersource and then the problem will gone -

Are you using Spektrum SRXL2 Adapter or you have made your own cable?

I’m using the adapter cable.

The BEC issue got me thinking so I changed some ESC settings last night. Will want to confirm, but it seems like a 6v BEC output was the issue. If I set it to 5v all is well.

As far as I know the 4651 supports a wide range of supply voltages. As do my servos and the spirit unit. So I’m not sure what’s going on there. A 5v BEC should be fine for me, and the BEC tester passed too.

Maybe I’ll try 7.4v and see what that does.

Edit, well 6v was no good but 6.5v worked just fine. That’s in the range for my servos and other hardware so I’ll take it. Very weird.
