After checking both ESC and FBL manuals I might have it wrong. If using the Spirit Governor, the Throttle wire (white red black) needs to be plugged into AUX 1. The yellow wire is the RPM Signal and needs to be in the PIT pin.
Does that sound right?

From what I can tell, since I'm using a full size Rx, AR6610T, the Throttle wire from the ESC goes to Port 1 of the Rx. The Yellow RPM wire goes to the PIT pin

Hello,
when using Spirit Governor, the ESC (Throttle) must be always connected to the Spirit unit - AUX1 port. Yellow - single wire connector must be modified so that the wire is in the center of the servo connector. This should be plugged at the PIT pin.
Receiver can be powered just by one wire. But if you want to be extra safe you can connect it with second cable from CH0 to any free port of the receiver.

Thank you very much
