Dear all,
could anybody tell me if I can setup the Spirit by using the FrSky CPPM mode (only one cable from the receiver to the FBL).

And if this works:
- where to connect the cable from the receiver
- what receiver to choose in the software

Thanks a lot!
Best regards
Thomas

Hi,

it could work with PPM receiver type, but it was not tested. FrSky CCPM could be incompatible, but with Proto PPM 6CH there is higher chance that it will work correctly.

So wiring scheme should be same with PPM scheme in the software/manual.

Thanks ZeXx86!
So I will do the standard PWM wiring.
Have a nice day.

With many FrSky receivers, you can use S-BUS output to use a single wire from RX-to-FBL. With that work for you? If you have a CPPM-only RC (like the DR4-II) you should be careful with the CPPM output, I believe there's a newer firmware that has a longer frame length so you can use all 8 channels.

Dear Kirby,
Yes the DR4-II has a new firmware, so the 8 channels are working fine.
Since I had a small spektrum receiver I used this for the first test witch usual PWM wiring.
Works well.
For my next build I will try the S-BUS from FrSky. But this will happen somewhen end of the year or 2016.
Best regards
Thomas
