My electronics mount does not have a flat spot and I can't fit it to the classic mount above the two front servos due to the wires

I have seen that someone was able to get it to fit there but I don't see how without cutting the canopy

Any ideas?

Any flat and stiff place on your heli would do.
Even upside down is possible, as long as you manage to mount it perpendicular to all 3 axes

Yeah with how much wiring I have from the elevator servo it could only really be mounted on top of the electronics mount but its not flat but sloped

Does anyone know if the 550l mount is the same as that has a gyro plate built in

You can mount the unit even on its side in the front of your helicopter, important is that it is aligned to all 3 axes.

Might work with an extension from the elev servo wire, I wonder if the 600 pro EFL Mount fits on the nitro....

Went with this in the end, one question will it be OK to fly with the Bluetooth plugged in? It would be awesome if I could see real time vibe logs in the air ...

Good,

you can leave it as on the photo, but flying with BT powered is not recommended. It may cause interference with your transmitter/receiver signal and also is not safe. It can crash when settings are changed to incorrect.

Note: Vibration analysis can't be done in the flight. Servos are locked, so the measurement can be very precise then.

For this purpose you can use Flight Log witch will tell you if vibrations are too high during the flight.

I'll put a little inline micro switch on it then, leaving it unpowered plugged into sys port won't be a problem will it?

Yes, it would be perfect with the switch.
