https://vimeo.com/122258658

As you can see, i was flying from right to left and suddenly the heli start doing hard maneuver by itself, immediatley turns motor completely OFF and finally to the ground

When I go to pickup the swash was doing some kind of small jumping up and down all servos.

At home, I take off blades and head and test and everithing seems to be OK

Please, I need help, becasue at this moment the only thing I can think that fails its the spirit.... I wont fly again with it until undesrtand wath happened.

This 600L is almost new, only few flights

very, very frustrating

thank you very much

I am very sorry for your problem, hopefully we will find answer for this sad crash very soon.

From your description it seems as something wrong happened in receiving signal or supply voltage issue.
Please check the log in the unit (Diagnostics tab) if you will see that there is Log from previous flight, then we will see what happened.

Can you describe me what setup do you use (is all stock from the kit)?
What receiver connection was used?

First from all, I recommend to carefully check each wire. Carbon frame can easily cut these wires so it is barely visible.

the setup is 100% what comes in the KIT of the trex 600L dominator

I use one DSMx sattelite connected at the side of the spirit

you can see the log, but it is not the flight one, because i power off the heli after the crash and then I power one maybe 2 or 3 times to make some testing

REceiver battery is a 2s lipo, and it has 88% full. see the photos of the setup. the wire is 20awg.

thanks

Thank you very much for the info and photos.

Fortunately if some important error happened in the flight it is saved permanently to the unit.
So even after reconnecting battery few times it will stay there until you view it by the software.
If there is some saved log, you will see different Cyclic pitch pump after initialization process is finished.
After review it should be normal again.

Events about low voltage and lost signal are very strange. Normally it shouldn't happen at all.
Spektrum cables are sometimes faulty even they are new, so flying with only one satellite on this helicopter size may be very dangerous. I highly recommend using second satellite or classic receiver.

I recommend to also check Failsafe in your case - what will happen if you power up the helicopter and then you will turn off the transmitter?

I can't be sure, but from the log it seems, that Satellite cable is not correct and it probably caused some kind of short in the unit during the flight. Short caused that the unit was very underpowered so it can't operate correctly in this case.

If you can, leave all things as it is and then try to move by hand with satellite cable as it is vibrating during the flight. Or you can start the motor without blades.
Then maybe you can simulate this situation again.

Sometimes there is bad connection in these small connectors.

I take out the spirit unit and factory reset.

I installed it in a NEW trex 450L kit, NO flights at all, NEW 100%.

I am seting up the unit and before starting the motor for the first time, and after configuring, servos, limits, etc, i open the LOG and the result you can see in the attached pdf

SIGNAL LOST, LOW POWER !!!

I really can not undesrtand, is a new kit, with a new BEC, a new battery, of course a new DSMX sattelute with a NEW cable too, is everythin NEW.

And again same errors!!!!!!!

Please, let me know

I am very frustrated

Hi,

I believe that Signal Lost is coming from the event if your transmitter was probably off.
And if there was Signal Lost, then last event "Low Voltage" is reported here, because battery was disconnected.
So it may shock you little bit, but Low Voltage is reported always if battery is removed and some different Error occured (in your case Signal Lost).

If it is the case, then all is OK. If not, then I believe that there is really something wrong with transmission.
You can activate your Range test in the transmitter and verify if it is really working for few feets.

Hi
yesterday, taking apart the sattelite of the crahsed 600L kit, one cable cut off, maybe this was the problem, maybe it was coneccted with a one hair !!!

I will reassemble all with a AR8000 and dsmx sattelite (conventional receiver) and see

Oh, thats sad.

Great you have found it.
These cables can cause even short, they are very fragile so extra attention must be paid. Especially when you want to plug off the connector, it should be done always by pulling the connector only (which is sometimes hard too).
