I really need some help here, as I must be doing something stupid.. :-))
I am trying to setup a DS16 I am using a Jeti R3/RSW.
All the firmware has been updated and I set the R3/RSW to PPM Positive PPM Out is set to Y3 which is plugged into the RUD port on the Spirit. The Output period is left at 17ms and 8 Channels and Mode is Computed.

Under the Servo Assignment on the DS16 I left the channels as they were so pressed Auto..
This is where is problem is, the channels on Diagnostics tab do not match up with the Channels on the DS16
The DS16 is
1 - Throttle
2 = Roll
3= Elevator
4 = Pitch
5 = Tail
6 = Gyro

I have set the Channels on the Spirit to be the same but
Throttles moves the Throttle and the Gyro
Tail moves the Pitch
Roll and Elevator work?

If I look at the output channels on the DS16 they are outputting correctly but not when it gets to the Spirit?

What am I missing?

Howard

If positive that tx is correct just change channel assignment in spirit so diag screen works.

Spirit and Jeti with default settings should work out of the box without changing channel assignment.
Channel numbering is little bit different, but it does not really matter. Important is that you can see correct movement in the diagnostics tab.

Thank you for the reply,
I could not get it to work correctly on PPM so I made up a new cable and set it up for Jeti EX Bus And it works, i did not understand why the channel numbers dont tie up?
Surley if my DS16 outputs rudder on channel 5 then on the Spirit when you go into the channel assignment button you should be able to set Rudder to channel 5 or am i missing something?
Sorry I moved from HC3SX amd there the channels matched up.
