Hello,
I have recently installed a Spirit GT in my Whiplash 2 gasser heli with a JETI REX7 RX and DS16 TX. When on the ground and not running, with the unit attached to the computer and running the spirit app I see a number of "main loop hang" messages. These messages appear to be correlated with times when I've started a telemetry download (to computer) and/or when I'm trying to plot the telemetry data in the app. Also, seemingly correlated, windows 10 reports that the app is not responding at times during the download or plotting.

Is this something I should be worried about? Note that I've not flown the heli yet but have run idling up to about 900 rpm on the ground (no blades) and have not seen the "main loop hang" message then.

Is it unusual to get main loop hang when connected to the computer? Should I be concerned? Note that I've checked wired connections and all seems ok there.
Thanks much for any help,
Tom

Well, not sure this is related but now I can't seem to download telemetry at all to my computer. Specifically, though I have logging set and variables set to log (and those variables are being logged by my JETI) when I attempt to view them in the app it indicates that there are no logs to view (please select log is grayed out) even though, again, they are being logged by my TX. It's like the unit isn't storing the logged values (?)

Argh. Now the unit is storing values. Does the unit have to recognize some condition (e.g. vibration level) to start recording logs? The above was with the unit on the bench without engine running. Here, I did have the motor idling and got logs. (???)

For recording the logs motor must be running (including blades preferably). So that you can see logs really from each flight while not logging when nothing happens.

Thanks Tomas! I thought that might be the case.\

Would you mind commenting about the "main loop hang" in the initial post?
