Post subject:  Painting the Geolink

Hi Support,
For a scale Lama Heli think about colouring the Geolink, because my Heli is white and mit red.
There are several options:
1. Airbrushing with white Acryl color, very thin.
2. Glue a white plastics Carfoil on the housing
3. 3D-Print a housing in white with 1mm wall thickness out of PET and glue it on the geolink wit double sided glue band.

I prefer Option 1, but is this possible without influencing the functionality?
Are the other Options 2-3 possible as well?
Do you offer alternative housings with another colour that are also not transparent?

Best Regards

Bernhard

You know that you can search forums to find information? If you search for "paint geolink", one of the posts that come up is the following.

Hi,

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't found it, I understood now painting nearly with everything but take care on the plug because of the pressure measurement.

Thanks a lot and best regards

Bernhard

Hi, I am glad I could help. ;)

I know Geolink works well on my 500 to 700 helis that respond quickly. It will be interesting to see how well it works on a giant scale heli.

Good Luck,
Frank
