Post subject:  Stabi correction - what vibration level is safe?

Hi!

from what vibration level is safe to enable this parameter? after flight i see 65% max vibration on the transmitter. Is that fine? What happens if i enable it and the vibratios are too high? that will make rescue worse? What this parameter exactly does?

Thanks :)

die 65% sind etwas hoch, ich würde die Vibrationen im Heli suchen .... Rotorblätter, Lager, Wellen .... gut ist bis maximal 50%

Hi,

the question is: what flying style to see 65? on all of mine i can see a max. level of ~50-55 even with hard 3d flying... soft/smooth flying will be more like 40 max.

It's not a question of flight style but it's a problem in the condition of the helicopter. Balancing of rotor and tail blades, bearings, shafts ...

It doesnt matter, i am just curious what is considered as too high vibration to enable this parameter :)

I have an xl 700, and an xl520, they both around 40-50% usually.

Hi,

Stabi Correction is making Rescue mode absolutely precise. But if something interfere with a sensors that are making these additional corrections, it could behave improperly. It can be found after few seconds even in hovering. Model will be tilted for example or even go in a wrong direction after activation.
It is very uneasy to find which kind of vibrations could cause a troubles before trying.

If default settings is working well, there is no reason to change it.

Anyway your vibration level is more than usual. Even 40% can be considered as not too good. Yet it still does not mean Stabi Correction will not work.
Usually the problem can be with a small models - 250 class or smaller or with a vibrations coming from tail or motor. Big vibrations coming from main rotor are not an issue.
