Hello everybody, Sold my Logo 550 SX and did a new set up for the guy who bought it. Firstly I did an update to the latest 3.2.2 version and as a result the old set up was lost and I therefore could not testfly the updated version I then did a new set up for the guy and on the bench and everything worked fine. However during maiden the tailrotor showed a violent clockwise reaction just before lifting of which would have certainly resulted in an uncontrollable pirouette. Double checked rudder and gyro and both are doing what they should do on the ground (ps checked with other experienced heli pilots and I do know how they should behave after 30years in the hobby). FYI there are no mixers nor revo in the game which I checked (when applying pitch, the tail pitch slider does not move). Unfortunately I can not testfly the machine myself since I am flying mode 2 and he's flying mode 1 with a Core TX....(nobody else flies that mode in our club) Any idea's what the issue could be? Many thanks in advance Regards |

Hello, it is enough to properly set servo reverse direction. This is basic parameter that you must verify and be sure is set correctly before starting the motor. Reverse CH4 in the Servos tab and all will be good. |

Thanks for the reply. Believe it or not, I just got a video from the guy doing a successful maiden without changing anthing to the settings! The actual reason was not the set up but the thumb of the pilot.... He's a airplane pilot and he's probably used to apply some right rudder at take off; the same reflex took over when he wanted to lift off the heli. So all good ! Regards, Ivan |
