Hi can someone help. I have just brought a Hobbywing ESC that i plan to use on a Goblin 380 Spirit set up.
i just want to confirm wiring.
The ESC has to wires coming from it but 3 plugs (this does not include motor and batt wires).
The ESC manual says the (Black/red/white) plug is throttle so that’s goes to AUX on the spirit.
Then we have another three core wire from the ESC (black/red/orange) the black/red go to 1 plug manual says this is BEC, then the orange wire goes to a plug on its own and is marked RPM.
I assume the black/red plug (BEC) goes to the RUD on the spirit, then normally the orange would go to the GOV but as the spirit doesn’t have GOV i take it this wire does not get used.
Hope this makes sence.
Regards Alan

Hi Alan,
your description is very correct. For this helicopter size, one plug may be enough, but if you do not plan to use RUD port to anything else, then slave BEC connector will be better.
