I want to mount the geolink on a small Lynx Oxy 3 The distance is only 6 cm The servo is a Nexspor CLS2305T see data https://www.nexspor.com/ Thanks for your help

Hello, it should work well. You can try to move servo or GeoLink and observe GeoLink Heading angle. If value will not change, then it should be still safe. |

Many thanks for your response. So I have now tested the following: I moved the geolink back and forth on the boom and the angle only changed 1-2°. I assume that I also moved the helicopter a little while moving it, so this is ok. I'm trying to mount the Geolink as close as possible to the servo. I want to reduce the "heavy load" on the boom as much as possible, it is a very small helicopter. If I understand the manual correctly, the accuracy of the geolink compass has no effect on flight behavior. but only on the exact position at the RTH function . Holding attitude is also unaffected. Is this right? Thanks a lot Jörg |
