after conversion, my wife is really happy with Spirit 2 stabilisation in her HeliBaby - flying like a charm... but now she would love to have Geo-Link too (... who is surprised? )
the problem is (see pics attached) the Geo-Link positioning... Spirit is under the seat (inverted, under bottom plate) and there is no chance to have Geo-Link at tail boom without having a min. 45-50cm cable length (which is not good following the manual).
the only solution i've found would be directly in the cockpit, in front of the control-stick, above the light gray plastic part (i've copied into pic to show placement): i would build a little plastic, depron or aluminium platform to have it perfect level. i guess this should not be a problem? the cockpit has many openings on all sides - so air pressure is for sure like ambient (just not above from the rotor downwash which should be rater good than bad i guess). the superthin clear vinyl cockpit should not really disturb GPS i hope?
