Hi
After flying without any form of stabi for 6 years i decided to use it in my latest heli(Kraken)
I intend to use it only for landing in windy days, but i cant notice any diffrence in stability compared
to normal,no stabi. In bank0 stabi normal sticks priority 4,at 1600rpm.I found it mostley annoying
becouse the heli tilts back to horizontal all the time after stick input, and it drifted the same as normal in the wind.
Question am i using wrong stabi mode?Is the cyclic gain the same in stabi mode?Or is stabi normal
only intended for learning hoover in no wind condition.
Many thanks
//Latjo

Hi Latio

Gain has to be on a negative value for the bank with the stabi mode.
Use "coax stabi" to begin with, because you should see a significant difference and is very good for start and landing.

Take care

HI
I have it switch on by channel(8),according to the manual http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.php?title=Coaxial
its no use for skilled pilots, its not compensate for the wind in coll, pitch or cyc.pitch.You no when
your abaut to land and you are 1-2M over the ground and it comes wind gusts, the heli can drops
1M and drift away, just like that.Perhaps its better whith a fligtmode for windy days.
Fly safe

Hi Latio,
if your heli should not drift during start/landing you need to install the Spirit GPS sensor.
You have then normal control of the heli, but the electronic keeps it in place like a multicopter.
