Hello to all...

Just a very simple question about Geolink: Can Geolink be used as a control link failsafe return to home as is used in most FPV type applications...? Meaning, whatever config is needed to ensure that if the control link is broken, ie I turn off the transmitter, GeoLink can bring the model back home...

Thanks,

Jim

RTH upon signal loss was a key reason for using this FC for this little FPV heli...

Clearly this is a problem...so I reverted back to the stock FC -- much simpler and lighter until a failsafe solution is found.

O&O

Hello,

setting RTH for failsafe is very simple.
Just engage RTH and program the Failsafe with Set Failsafe.

I think it can't be easier. But you have to also turn the motor on otherwise it will fall.

There seems to be quite a bit of talk around at the moment about how to turn a Spirit equipped heli into an autonomous flying machine.
May I be so bold Tomas to suggest you be slightly careful in advise given as most Countries have a fairly fixed view as to what should happen to a 'failed' machine. RTH is great but for now should be used to get your heli back into view to be acquired and landed by the Pilot.
Like all things, the Authorities take years to be convinced of new technology!!

We are not giving any advises about autonomous flight. What we are giving is stated in the manual.
Pilot is responsible for everything he is doing. So it is always his duty to learn all laws and requirements to operate his model.
In some countries there are no restrictions, in some it is very important matter and you have to even register each flight.

How is the RTH altitude set?

You can engage Altitude Hold or Altitude Limit features at the same time.
